Animal Studies 2012

During Lyme Regis ArtsFest  2011 I had the opportunity to work on some detailed studies of animals from photographs I had taken.   I started with drawing them using graphite pencils, then reworked them using watercolour pencils, then added water to make them into watercolour paintings, as shown below.   These are being further developed into digital mixed media designs.
